Here’s what you can do…

Focus on your quadriceps. These are the muscles of your upper leg. They are made up of four distinct muscles in the front of your thigh.

They take a lot of the load, so giving them a massage will keep them very strong and injury free.

You can use simple sports massage strokes to quickly ease tension.

The best strokes to use are the glide (with your palms). Next, use the heels of your hand and apply more pressure.

From here you can squeeze your quads with the heels of both hands (with fingers interlocked). This will bring more blood into the muscles.

Next, you can use the elbow to get deeper into the muscle and remove tension.

From here, you should do some drumming with your fists. This is the final step in the process.
